Since 1997, the Tree Canada Foundation has been responsible for the planting of 3,298,607 trees as part of the world-renown Sudbury Land Reclamation Program. This amazing project which has seen Sudbury convert it's "moonscape" to a real "greenscape" is chronicled in the beautiful book, "Healing the Landscape - Celebrating Sudbury's Reclamation Story". Tree Canada is very proud to be associated with this amazing story.

The Foundation tries to respond to natural emergencies and circumstances by creating programs which help communities with specific tree needs. These have included:
